Just to add, this all works !

I was trying DTS 8.14 & maybe the setup files were a mess... who knows...

Anyway, 8.16 installed NO ISSUES, keygen works a treat. I've not got much knowledge about DTS, however so far...

• My SD connect C4 clone talks fine to DTS
  
• I can connect to my W212 car & do a basic check of parameters etc...
  
• DTS shows up license files in OTX studio.
  
• Config tool shows SN of my MUX ( only weird bit is that on interface "drop down" it shows no licensed hardware.. ) but MUX still talks...

I just need to add some data files etc & learn about DTS...

Makes Vediamo look easy & I'm not that good on it.. still have much to learn about that one....

BTW, I did a fresh install on a separate HDD, NO DAS / Xentry etc....  ( but you have to edit toolkit.ini on DTS, in the I+Me actia subfolder, as it'll change language on MUX to german lol ! ).

Everything is in the download links bud...license etc and the KG.

The KG was a bit trial and error as it's in Chinese or Japanese text....

But it works....only bit on the config manager is the "no licensed Hardware found" error...which may be mux settings ??

Just need to populate DTS with data... As it shows up ECUs with ???? However the basic parameters like rpm, temp etc are all displayed.


I think this will take a lot of learning for me to understand this S/W

sorry bro , but there is no license on your shared files , or did is not the same license like DTS 8.14 ( License.bin ) ?
did it's a file on the patch or something ?

yes bro , you are right , i have check OTX studio and all is green but what about this capture :

Very odd as it accepts license.bin file if you use the manual update license menu.

Update...it looks like a config parameter in config setup... You have to setup ecom_smr as SD connect...

Once it's refreshed, licensed Hardware shows up with mux serial number...

Of course, you must have mux connected to laptop for this....

Just waiting for a fellow member to try and see if this their conclusion.
