What is the best universal/ multi scanner tool hardware device for all car brands?

VXdiag is crap, may be i will sale mine in the near future as soon as i find proper replacement,       let me give you my personal experience,
VW cant read most live data and most ecu specially on newer cars 2016 and up 2020 not possible at all...

nissan not stable loosing connection cant read most things problematic big problems,
what else,

PSA GROUp same cant read or recognize most ecu, missing data missing things just crappy crappy terrible device, with tons of problems,
They emulate everything but not properly i will tell you that my open port works allways
i never had a car which i cant read or recognize something with vxdiag its like hitting jackpot it can worrk for some things it can not work at all for other, today i scanned 2 nissan cars older nissan i was able to read 2 ecu, newer i was not even been able to clear errors ...
such a crappy crappy terrible piece of chinese software + hardware.
crap to the maximum level.
dont buy it.

I am aware that i cant install ids on the same machine i got 10 fresh virtual machine no software and i still cant install not a single ids software always during installation gives errors or something when i try to activate it i am not that stupid i am aware that tabman exe is same for ids mazda, ford and jaguar.
i never install same software on 1 laptop or 1 os, i am using only windows 7, for these softwares.
in virtual machine.i spend over 1000 euro for my vx diag and i do have extra license for everything, absolutely everything, its not licenses problem its the tool it self, without license u cant start or use programs so its not license issue i spoke with their non existing non helping support,.
its just junk thats it. tool is junk,.
So far i never found any use of vxdiag it doesnt work for anything PROPERLY.
its not stable and its junk.
yes i have vxdiag software manager and vx software and everything otherwise you can use it with oem programs.
their loaders too.
OPEN PORT 2.0 genuine is quite good i have made many toyota,honda,mazda, and subaru cars with it.
IT NEVER FAILED ME FOR the last 3 years never
never got a single car which i cant read.

i even read  mercedess with xentry not latest cars but some cars year 2005 no issues, and even works with nissan consult and its stable, but cant see all ecu.let me tell you i always scan dtc error scan car while they are running and oN AND i dont do REPROGRAMMING at all.

Sounds like you got a bad vxdiag, if they are not helping you, then there is nothing we can do either to make the hardware work for you.

The openport, there are better passthru vci's out there that work better. The openport does not even work on ODIS passthru.

Up until we cracked autocom 2020, all there was available was hex2shit junk that did not work properly since 2013. Of course you don't like the price when you are used to getting it for free. I wont hold my breath for another free version.

Even the c4b 21 is a modified and renamed version of our free 2020.23 after he failed to crack our 2021 and lost his license 

End of the day, all softwares and vci's have their pro's and con's. There is no magical one solution fits all. Just buy the relevant vci's and move on is your best option.

So what, if you have more than one vci? You are not the only one in this same boat. Be thankful that you do not have to pay dealer software prices too

The best Scanner use a Kingbolen Thinkdiag 2 or better DBSCar7 for DOIP cars, Register and pay in Diagzone and you can make Onlinecoding and all Vehicles at the World.

I've lost count of how many times I've written about counterfeit devices from China, especially the VCX, over my 20 years in Automotive Technology about this Megashit VCX Emulator 

So, I'll make an effort here to inform everyone about the VX Allscanner (Vcx Nano, Vcx Se). In a nutshell, the Allscanner is intended to be a universal device, its main selling point being its support for all protocols. It was designed solely to SIMULATE original devices, such as (both past and present) Porsche Piwis, Tech2, Volvo VCADS, Mercedes C6 (2 models), etc. Since the Chinese were unable to clone some devices, they came up with the idea of programming their own driver (for example, in Mercedes Xentry, it's the Openport 2.0 which emulates/simulates the C6) using the original port of the Xentry software, BUT with which a fake device communicates via Openport 2.0.

The scenario unfolds exactly as one user described: some things work, some don't, some cars can do certain things while others can't, etc., and they have never been able to program anything 100%. Interestingly, they even require licenses for each device. Be aware, once and for all, that the Allscanner and its electronics in a smaller format like the VCX Nano are used for these counterfeit purposes. It's not a device with its own software, but rather a simulator/emulator of many interfaces that then perform poorly. Beware of such devices!
