Hello, car in question is 2002 E270 vin WDB211016XXXXXXXX
i changed the center vents for the 2005+ updated one with no middle blue scroll, the problem is that no air comes thru them unless ac is set to auto
it throws an error for the center vents being defective
the new unit has less wires obiously cause the scroll isnt there.
does anyone know how if i can possibly fix this by coding?

EDIT 1.16.2023 : If anyone is facing the same problem, you must change MY in CGW to 2005 or newer (SA 805) I changed mine to 2006 just to be safe. Big thanks to user W211 for reaching and trying to help even thought shortly after i made this thread i figured it out. Been pretty busy hence why i forgot to update this. Thanks.
