BOSCH KTS 650 & KTS 500 RECOVERY DISKS

Hello friends of BOSCH KTS 650 & KTS 500.
This is my collection for all the KTS 650, FSA 7xx recovery disks (service DVD) and one for the very old KTS 500.

You can download them and use them without any pass or any tricks.

1. You have to choose which one is the appropriate recovery disk for your KTS.
Read the specifications and download accordingly.
If you use a wrong recovery disk your KTS may not boot normally or may not shut down after the recovery when in windows, or may nothing happens since windows will install some correct drivers anyway. But if you have any unusual problems, then you have to choose another recovery disk (the correct one).

2. Burn the image on a DVD and use an external USB or PCMCIA device to boot from the DVD.
The recovery procedure may take veeeeeeeeeeeeery long time. In some older KTS 650 it could take ~ 15 hours.
It is highly recommended to use also a PS/2 keyboard (not USB) because you will need to push some keys in the recovery procedure.

3. To get into Boot menu just press a few times the # button on the KTS 650.

- Please note that not all the external USB DVD players are compatible to boot with your KTS so if you cannot boot from the DVD you have to try with another external USB DVD player.

- When KTS 650 is installed in FSA 750 units the recovery disk includes printer drivers etc.

This is my first thread and I hope these recovery disks could save some souls.

To be sure, check the article number on the back of you KTS. It is written on a silver sticker with black numbers.
Every RECOVERY DISK has instructions in the root folder concerning the article number of KTS.
But, I think you should use 1 687 005 001 (v2.0) or 1 687 005 001 (v1.0).

Just burn the image on a DVD and use it to boot. After that just follow the instructions.

For touchscreen drivers use the following link.

If this downs't work use a mouse to visit the Control Panel in Windows. There you will see the device name of the touchscreen. Google it and you will find the drivers for Windows XP or Embended.

I welcome kts 650 versions of the best No. 0684 400 which image iso will fit?

0684 400 650 is the article nuber of the KTS 650 from Bosch.
You need to find another article number (like 1 687 005 XXX). Find this and download the correct DVD from th list in .txt file.

Hi i recover KTS but after all configuration language etc it start windows and after this it shut down windows automatically and i can't do anything to stop the process.


any idea?
