RNS 510 FW SW UPDATE 5238 incl. VIM & TEST MODE - reem - 26-03-2018

This is the best and the most reliable update for RNS 510 devices, including many extras!

Firmware update - Installation Guide.

Burn firmware image CD slowly.

Recommended to connect the car battery to the charger.
Open the vehicle, DO NOT turn on the ignition, do not put the key in the ignition !!!
Turn on the RNS 510 manually and wait for the complete starting of system.
Insert firmware CD.
Confirm installation with OK.
The update installation is ready after about 50-60 minutes.
On the finish, remove firmware CD, when prompted.
RNS 510 restarts (switch on manually if necessary)

The Firmware 5238 is suitable:
This firmware runs without exception, with all its features on each ever built device with hard drive (HDD), from 2006 to October 2013.
VIM and test mode are integrated in firmware and ready right after installation!
