here is how to install xentry passthru and xdos for dummies 2018.
it is simple but it is worth thousands dollar. Biggrin

1. prepare windows sp1 x86 or x64 as an administrator
2. run setup.exe

notes: for xdos 2017-12 installation in win x86 32bit
Extract xdos 2017-12 iso.
Replace Xentry Diagnostics OpenShell.msi in folder 'data'

3. copy xentry missing pictures

4. install block check keys to daimler server
purpose: to avoid "no access authorization code" after using internet

5. install old keys loader for configassist (or startkeycenter if you use it)
purpose: to make configassit or startkeycenter accept keys from old xentry/das developer keygen ( it is called 'old keys'). Select according to your win OS.

8. install das license 0 day fix
purpose: fix DAS license 0 day error (not for MB Bus). you can use this along with DAS Standalone full size.

9a. install passthru device driver for xentry passthru

7. install 3.91 error fix
purpose: fix xentry error 3.91

delete/rename "db2mv.gmf"

8.a install das license 0 day fix
purpose: fix DAS license 0 day error (not for MB Bus). you can use this along with DAS original and DAS Standalone full size.
the DAS full size avoids error when using 'special function' vmax and eol for lkw

- with this das license, you don't need to patch 'original' das. leave it original. look the reason above.

purpose: launch das not from xentry. it is usefull when you want to diagnose, coding, programming, hacking car hardware w204 and w212 prototype in das.

9a. install passthru device driver for xentry passthru

Below, are for xdos installation only:

9b. xentry blacklist

purpose: avoid sdconnect (genuine or clone) to be blocked by xentry when its serial number is stolen one.

10. install HHT.
purpose: diagnose old cars that use 38pin, obd1, banana cables

please google for yourself or ask someone in this forum who have it or use glintweb or use DieTRih.

EDIT:

Xentry passthru installation does not need:
1. 32 Bit Installer fix
2. xentry and das blacklist
3. scn fix

Xentry passthru does not supported this vehicles in DAS:

- Bharat Benz
- Foton
- Fuso
- LKW
- IMO
- Unimog
- PKW using HHT

Many speak of leaving Xentry / DAS without the need for a password for special functions when the FDOK calculator was used before. What would this patch be to disable the password? And the special functions for trucks, could someone make available as well?

1. Standalone Startkeycenter:
if you somehow need startkeycenter beside configassist, here is
standalone startkeycenter.
purpose: adds das developer key, wis standalone key and of course can add xentry key.
for old keys keygen, use the old keys loader

for xentry programming offline, you need xentry calculator for xdos 2017-12.
i don't have it.
the floating xentry calculator in the internet is for release up to xentry 2013.

First I want to really thank you for the guide, its great! but as for w32 installation the msi doesn't work, at least for me and I can't find eceadc43 line to avoid the rollback, could you help me? thanks a lot
