camshaft adjuster - wkboat17 - 19-08-2016
Folks,
Looking for a bit of help with a camshaft adjuster on a 07 E350 4matic. I notedthat one of the adjusters made a "clicking" noise [one click per revolution] when I was rotating by hand. This was coming from the right side.
I understand the adjuster is controlled by the oil solenoid, with regard to timing adjustment. But; is there a way to test the adjuster off the camshaft, or better; to localize it to the intake or exhaust adjuster?
Any help here would be appreciated.
