Benefits:
Xentry XDOS is the dream come true for daimler lover. We can install xentry in windows 7.
It is the same xentry with its win xp version, but it is faster and I can use my laptop that is designed for windows 7..
how to install XDOS revealed:
This is my steps:
1. install fresh windows 7 pro 64 bit (i don't try 32bit yet)
2. mount the xdos disc to virtual drive
3. run setup.exe and finish without error
4. i try to run startkeycenter but need different key, so I run prepare.bat from newguide2j with eliminate some unnecessary steps
5. voila, the key is accepted
and here is the prepare for xdos.bat.
1. I honestly edited on the fly, and achieve what i needed i.e key accepted,
and don't play with other line in this batch file.
Maybe many unnecessary, but as long as it doesn't disturb the xentry and my goal is reach, it is okay
2. you still need the folder unattended while for afterinstallation.bat, it looks like it is not needed. but i will look at it.
3. Make sure that the registry in prepare for xdos.bat is executed well (i.e not rejected because your registry policy)
4. I have made XDOS image with acronis. I will try to upload it in mega server. It will take some time.
